Fraglia Vela Malcesine was the first club founded on the eastern shore of the lake, back in 1947.
The club has a long tradition in hosting top events and fostering talents, but it is also a place for novelty and innovation. In 2014, Fraglia Vela Malcesine started the Foiling Week, the first event worldwide completely dedicated to foiling boats: this is not only a regatta, but a week full of events for sailors, designers, and builders.
Since 2003, the club has called Navene home and in 2007 the new clubhouse, with its iconic grass rooftop and state-of-the-art facilities was inaugurated, followed by two marinas to the north and south of the club.
The Formula Kite events will take place here during the Youth Worlds.
