Riva del Garda lies at the northernmost end of Lake Garda and the town’s heart is its waterfront. Along the lake shores you’ll find the hydroelectric power plant, the Palazzo Pretorio, seat of the town government, the Torre Apponale, the Rocca, an ancient fortress turned into a museum, and Porto San Nicolò, the main harbour.
The area between the Rocca and Punta Lido, with Fraglia Vela Riva and the Spiaggia degli Olivi at its centre, will come alive during the Youth Worlds, hosting both the expo area and the evening events. Everyday will bring some new surprise for the event participants as well as for the local population and holidaymakers.
